Teens: Make peace with your body

Mirror, mirror, why am I the ugliest? That is the question you ask as many girls in adolescence. However, you must accept the changes to reconnect with your new body.

At puberty, in a few months the body changes. This stage between childhood and adulthood is often seen with more difficulty than the transformation is irreversible and uncontrolled. And the result is not necessarily the one expected: while the body has not reached its adult proportions, puberty is often accompanied by weight gain, rapid growth legs relative to the bust or the appearance of skin problems like acne. So, look in the mirror sometimes becomes a torture!

Truth or illusion? If it was only the mirror that you referred this horrible picture! Nay Magazines and television seem to confirm what you think: you're an ugly duckling to swan country!

The weight, new enemy?

The few extra pounds made at puberty must encourage you not to eat anything that does not snack between meals, in short, to adopt a new eating habits.

Some girls, are doomed to be thinking big, start eating compulsively, but could not control themselves: meet her eating disorder is not a remedy for the difficulties of adolescence, it is better to regain self-confidence, verbalize the discomfort caused by changing body.

Other young girls - or the same, alternating between the two behaviors - do not support the idea of having a sexual body, like their mother, and refuse their femininity. Under the pretext of regime, they eat less and less to the anorexia and believe they regain control of themselves, preventing their bodies to exist. Very poorly experienced by those around who feels guilty, this attitude requires the girl to deceive non-stop with his family and friends. And well-being she feels momentarily no longer need to eat, has sometimes irreversible physical consequences that require hospitalization and work of psychotherapy.

Loving Simply

In reality the situation is not so dramatic as we think the difficulty is to adapt to his new body, namely the bear, as you wear a garment with style, your center gravity in a different place, and, with more breasts, you feel heavier. Like the comic actor who gives himself airs of obese buttocks while walking back, belly first, show yourselves your new figure, as if she was deformed. That's because you do not please, that others do not find you attractive.

Taking possession of his body

Puberty is a second birth. Once you've admitted that you are not visiting your new body, you will taste treat and the highlight. You have to find now models and colors to suit your new shapes! Relearn to walk! Do not slumped in a chair! And soon you will see: the body, which you seemed monstrous, became an object of pleasure and seduction!
